If you have any questions about how your data is handled, please email me at the address above.
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When you visit, technical connection data is processed to provide the website. This includes your IP address, the page or file you request, the time of your visit, information about your browser and operating system and, where applicable, the page you visited before arriving here (the referrer).
This data is used to deliver the website, keep it running reliably and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website. IONOS processes hosting data as a service provider.
IONOS states that, for its web hosting service, visitor data is stored for eight weeks and IP addresses are anonymised when collected. You can read more in the IONOS Webhosting privacy information (German).
When you contact me through the contact form, by email or by phone, I use your contact details and the information you provide to reply and discuss a possible shoot. The form on the home page asks for your name, email address, message and an optional photography category. It uses Contact Form 7 on my own hosting and sends your enquiry to me by email.
For enquiries about a commission, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before entering into a contract or performance of a contract). For other enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is communicating with prospective clients. Where processing is based on your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies.
Enquiry data is deleted when your enquiry has been dealt with and the data is no longer needed. Where legal retention requirements or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require it, the relevant data is kept for those purposes. Providing your details is voluntary, but I cannot reply without the necessary contact information.
Other contact forms may appear on template pages that remain on this website. Contact details and messages submitted through those forms are also used to respond to your enquiry.
Cookies are small files that your browser can store on your device. Other forms of browser storage can also hold information. Storage or access that is strictly necessary for technical purposes falls under Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Any related processing of personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR, depending on its purpose.
Non-essential storage or access requires your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG. Personal data is then processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future.
The home page has no embedded social media posts or videos and no integrated ordering process. You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser settings.
The fonts used by Elementor are served locally from my own hosting. The additional external requests to Google Fonts and Font Awesome from the previous theme or an add-on have been removed. During a normal visit to the new home page, font and icon files are therefore not loaded from these external providers.
The Instagram link is a standard external link, not an embedded social media plugin. You only visit Instagram when you open the link. The provider’s own privacy information then applies.
The photographs on this website are served from my own hosting. Pictrs is not currently integrated into this website.
Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to access your data (Article 15 GDPR), have it corrected (Article 16) or erased (Article 17), restrict its processing (Article 18) and receive it in a portable format (Article 20). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before you withdrew consent.
Right to object: If processing is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you can object under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can object to processing for direct marketing at any time.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). For providers based in Saarland, the Independent Data Protection Centre Saarland (German) is particularly relevant. To exercise your rights, contact me using the details above.
This website uses HTTPS. TLS encrypts the connection between your browser and the web server. Email communication cannot be assumed to have full end-to-end encryption.
